Sony export ban on Into the Wild Reissue!

I have been keeping close with my distributor in the US about the Into the Wild Reissue... this was the latest update as of this morning...

"Yeah, Sony out an absolute export ban on all titles on that label, and after a lot of scrounging around we will now be able to get them via a middle man mid-next week."


This is going to be VERY hard to come by in stores in the states. I was lucky enough to get my hands on enough to sell.
2009: Philly Night 2
2010: MSG Night 1 and Night 2
2011: Eddie Vedder Solo in Philly, PJ20 Alpine Valley Day 1 and Day 2.
2012: Berlin Night 1(7/4)
2013: Wrigley Field, Philly 1 and 2

    Which US distributor do you speak of? Must be Sound Stage Direct. If so, then I am in good shape.

    They are not necessarily a distributor, they are most likely a retailer.

    The distributor that I use seem to do a lot of import vinyls so they were able to get a hold of a decent ammount, probably from a back channel in holland or surrounding country.

    heck.. stampede over to me.. I am getting in over 100 copies.. I have about half sold so far. $35.99 +3.95 shipping.

    If I'm reading this email from Music Direct about the Singles Soundtrack vinyl- sounds like this "ban" is affecting that release also...
