Looking for Pearl Jam and Penguins fans in Toronto to grab drinks and watch some Pens games this season (following in the footsteps of other meetup groups): http://pittsburgh-penguins.meetup.com/

2. anyone know of a place that could/would host it?

I personally live downtown, but can look into places more central in relation to where other people live.

    quite simple really...when i was growing up, Mario Lemieux was my favourite player...

    i remember my dad taking me to my first game at Maple Leaf Gardens when i was a kid (around 1993 when both the Leafs and Pens were competitive) and sitting all the way up in the last row of the grey seats...i was wearing a Penguins jersey and shouted "LEAFS SUCK" during the pre-game warm up and all the people around me turned around and were like, "wtf is wrong with this kid?"

    ahhhh ... i'm glad i've had the opportunity to watch mario play from up close ... his fake "shot"/let the puck go between his legs/deception so paul kariya could score in salt lake city is one of my all time favourite hockey plays ...
