in all seriousness, 'kid a' and 'amnesiac' remain my fave radiohead records to date. not to say that the records that followed were bad. just that these two marked the great turning point for rh.

  • Have you guys ever heard Chuck Klosterman's theory about how Kid A predicted 9/11? I believe it's in his IV compilation. Interesting stuff the whole backstory to the making of this album.

Is that a book or is there a link on line to it?

It's a book. It's in the compilation book with all his shit from ESPN, Spin, Esquire, etc. I'll try to dig it up tonight. Its pretty cool when he talks about the mental pain and anguish Thom went through to write Kid A.

Killing Yourself to Live, that's what it was. Not the compilation book. All his stuff is fantastic. Fargo Rock City and Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs are really good ones.

Now, I don't know if I really buy into all of it with regard to Kid A, but it is interesting.

I was thinking the same. Must be the smoothest suspension in history.:lol:
Kid A! I still think they had lost their minds when they made that.

Think I'll give it another go today.
