Just a question. Wasn't he the guy that was on that TV Show Rockstar with Tommy Lee & Dave Navarro. Excuse me if I get this wrong, but didn't he also play in Guns N Roses for a brief period?
Anyways, does he have his own band now?
I noticed on the sign above the bar across the street that Gilbey Clark will be playing there on October 15th. I was thinking, has his career gone down that bad that he has to play local watering hole in my small town. The towns population is only like 9000. The bar might hold 350 people.
Is he a good guitarist or just average? If he is alright, I just might go check him out.

  • he replaced Izzy for the Use Your Illusion tour. Axl fired him at some point. He has some solo stuff, and yes, he was in Rockstar Supernova with Tommy Lee and Jason Newsted and Lukas Rossi.

In January 2010 this was posted on his website:

Gilby is recovering now @ the hospital from injuries he sustained in a hit n' run accident on his motorcycle 1/10/10. He suffered 3 broken bones in his left foot/ankle & a broken bone in his right foot. He had one successful surgery Tuesday, but he still has at least one more surgery next week. There is no further information on the pick up truck that caused the accident, by making a left hand turn into oncoming traffic. Gilby would like to thank everybody that has expressed their concern & well wishes...
