Uploading videos to Facebook

Is this where we're supposed to ask technical questions that aren't PJ-related? If so...

Is it REALLY difficult to upload videos to Facebook, or is it just me? It says we can upload videos that are under 1024 MB and 20 minutes. I'm trying to upload a video that 64 MB and less than 2 minutes. Within a few minutes, the upload speed decreased incrementally from 0.63 KB/sec to 0.01 KB/sec and said it would take 1794 hours and 35 minutes to upload. WTF?? :?

I've had similar problems whenever I've tried uploading videos in the past too. I've somehow managed to get a couple up, but I'm not sure how. Last time I left it uploading for hours and at some point it said it failed, but then later when I checked my FB page it was there. But it usually just doesn't work at all. I just don't get it. :( (I don't usually have any trouble with my internet speed, by the way.)

Try different browser or close your torrents.

Thanks! I'll try a different browser. I wouldn't know whether I have any torrents open or how to close them anyway.

How about FireFox? http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ I've had the same problem's too uploading video clips. Facebook has been acting up lately. Do you have anything else uploading or downloading in the background? If so close them all down.

Thanks! I'll try Firefox. No, nothing else uploading or downloading in the background.

That's a GREAT point! Yes, it does use a Java uploader and I usually ignore all those messages that say I should update Java. I can't believe I didn't put it together! Thanks! :)
