  • DAN!!!

Not a local but I do love Boston. Such a fun city. I love little Italy but I can't remember where I ate there  Plus I ate at this little pub in the theatre district that was a brew pub and had the best pulled pork sandwich ever.

Really I just wanted to say hi. I did see Pearl Jam there though and I can highly recommend that

 Good Day Sweet Man Dan :D

I'm not local either but had great fun there

The aquarium is one of the best in the country, when we were there the handlers were swimming with the Penguins and feeding them...that was just precious

Cheers bar is a must... then we just walked around from bar to bar

I love the buildings and the feel of the city...found a nice Italian cafe near Paul Revere's house. The history is awesome there.

    Got to go back

I bet Halloween will be a gas PumpkinFunnyFaceCool.gif have fun

    Enjoy and safe travels
  • Blenderman's coming to my neck of the woods? Cool man. Salem's a lot of fun on Halloween. It's crazy there. You'll have a blast and New England in the autumn is like nothing else on Earth. Yeah, so about 450 years ago around here if there was someone in your town you didn't like, just claim they are a witch and bam, state-sanctioned death penalty. Wild stuff.

I'll try to think of some suggestions.

  • Hold on, you're going to Bostom? I have no idea where that is...

  • Blenderman, You have to go to either Tresca (very pricey) or Paglucas (more family oriented, excellent food, reasonable prices) for a meal in the North End. If going to Paglucas, have the hotel make a reservation, particularly on a Saturday night. Otherwise, you'll wait hours for a table. The food and service is excellent at both. Tresca is partly owned by Ray Borque so you could just run into a hockey player or two or three. Tell Massimo that Bob C. sent you. After dinner, walk up Hanover Street to Mike's Pastry for canolli, cookies, etc., etc. Its quite the scene and all of the pastry is excellent. Hanover Street in the North End has lots of places to eat and drink as well as some of the side streets. There's even a cigar bar for your after dinner and a stroll with a smoke for some real local flavor. The Old North Church and Paul Revere's house are within easy walking distance so some mid-afternoon sight seeing followed by an incredible meal is very doable. Try to be at a restaurant by 6:00 p.m. because the later it gets, the more crowded the whole North End gets. Have fun and let us know how you make out! Now, if only the boys were playing at the Gaaaaaaaaaaden!

    Peace!

Then its Legal Seafood, a chain but started in Boston, or the Barking Crab down by the water outside of South Station in the Financial District. Legal Seafood has several locations, one of which is in the Copley Place Mall. The Barking Crab is a decent walk from the North End but its through the new Rose Kennedy Green Way which is pretty cool since its grown in. Bon Appetito!

Well then either Legal Sea Foods or the Union Oyster House near Faneuil Hall will be a good eat. Have fun in town.
