The internet is full of morons. Reading the comments on ANY youtube video is proof.
It is time to admit that we used to rock like hurricanes. It is time to run for the hills and go round and round. It is time for us to shout at the devil. We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, and we're not gonna take it anymore.

I especially liked the one where some person said that Eddie was forgettable and made forgettable music, but some of these Idol contestants were making UNforgettable music. HA!

the clever pun is great too :

"Obviously Eddie and his bandmates have "misdialed" on trying to write a great song lately. Loser!"

    ZING!!!!

i laughed so hard i chocked on my mug'o'tae at the "unforgettable music comment"....

also the "the things he stoops to for a few minutes of celebrity" bit was great...Eddie speaking during his own concerts is just sad isnt it? attention-seeking asshole

Here is a good one to laugh at...

"Hell, even some of the loser have better careers than Pearl Jam (Josh Gracin, Chris Daughtry, ect ect.)"

some people like the idea that they are talented because they won a kareoke contest. come next week to your local bowling alley to see the 2009 american idol.
"Some people think it makes a difference...I think it's the difference that makes it"

I totally agree with Eddie but come on, picking on American Idol viewers is like picking on the kids who rode the short bus to school.

    My favorite quote

    43. Eddie needs a serious hair cut. Someone needs to tell him that it's 2008 not 1988. He's just jealous that the show has found real talent.

Time will tell if they have better commercial careers. However, they will never have better artistic and honorable careers.

  • haha, saw this the other day. Figured someone would post it here. i have nothing better to do so I do watch american idol sometimes because my mom watches it. we don't vote though. Its really funny how these people are talking about "real" talent. To me "real" talent includes writing your own songs. (writing one song and making 12 versions of that song and calling it an album doesn't count)

While I think that some of those comments are obviously from 15 year old kids.....

Eddie does come off as a snob sometimes.
