So, I am travelling to Nashville November 12-14 for a Blackhawks hockey game. Just wondering what I should check out while I'm there? If there's anyone on the board that's familiar with the area, any ideas would be welcome and appreciated.

Check out Grimey's for music (www.grimeys.com). If there is someone good playing, definitely check out a show at the Ryman (right across the street from the hockey arena).

Definitely check out the Ryman Auditorium. Even if you can't make a show go during the day (betwee 9am - 4pm) for a tour. It's like a museum - awesome old building and music memorabilia. I love looking at the Hatch prints framed on the wall signed by the artists.

I've been wanting to go to Third Man Records but never seem to make it. We were just in Nashville last night and saw Sheryl Crow at the Ryman (show not that great, but loved being at the Ryman), but still missed Third Man Records (Jack White's store/production company).

Check out Tootsie's, close to the Ryman. It is another historic establishment.

Dollywood is in eastern Tennessee - near Pigeon Forge I think.
