Light Years cd single: Monia and Ince?

So I dusted off the Light Years single, and am looking at the art on the inside which says “Monia” and “Ince”. It got me curious......does this mean anything to anyone?
They could have simply chose a cute picture of a couple to imply intimacy or being close (fitting the lyrics). What’s odd though is that Ince is not really a name..or is it?
Who are these people?! I want to know. :D

    sorry- a little late...

    I think you need to find the word that can end in -monia or -ince. Then you will have your answer- maybe.

    As I knew it, it was about a Sony exec that had passed away. She was a good friend of the band aswell. I don't know her name, but I think I read that in a magazine or something. I think her name was mentioned, but this was a while ago.

    The song goes:

    we were but stones- the band wasn't big or made a name for themselves yet
    your light made us stars- her or they signing them made them big

    That's how I see it. Maybe one or the other name has to do with her. Good luck with your search.

    interesting. makes sense now! like the song. and with that info one might even make a case for the light years title being the years that she was involved (like looking back.."those were the light years"). in addition to the space reference and lyrics of course. shit is brilliant if you think about...which I'm obviously thinking about it too much , but whatever..

    love how both this single's artwork/title and the binaural artwork/title play with "far away" and "close-up" themes.

    binaural: space imagery (far away) + listening with two ears (close-up) and/or close-up photos of instruments inside
    light years: the lightbulbs (sorta like a dressing room lightbulbs) look like planets (far away) + cute couple picture inside (close-up)
