The only legitimate criticism of Israel I can see in associating the most recognized Jewish symbol with arguably the most recognized symbol for money is if you wanted to take the leap and assume that the "$" were in fact meant to be "US$" and thus a statement about the United States' support of Israel. Is that what you're claiming here?

Point taken. When you put it that way…it is kinda questionable.
However…. I’d like to see the actual video to understand the context…if it is anything like the animation in the original movie, it wasn’t one continuous, literal interpretation of some political statement …the imagery had themes, but not specific messages. Lots of metaphoric symbols morphing into one another. I’m guessing that this video is along the same lines – anti-war, anti-oppression, anti-wall sentiment. Maybe it was an unfortunate coincidence? Maybe it was intentional, but overlooked as a racist dig? Who knows...
Perhaps my statement was premature since I haven’t seen the video…but I stand by the premise. Offense at the possibility of misinterpretation is a bit excessive. Also interesting that I can’t find a single story on this anywhere but in Jewish/Israeli media, and Fox News.
