I'm alergic to beer!!!!

This past month I noticed having congestion and mild headaches while drinking. Right now it's tolerable, but I hope it doesn't progress or develop further.

Anyone else with the same problem, know if it has gotten worse for them?

    i've not had that, but did get headaches when i stopped drinking. :lol:

    OMFG....was it a certain brand of beer you were drinking?? Could be an additive in it that you react to. I can't drink many wines (not a great loss) due to sulphides/preservative 220 221. Some beers also contains these preservatives and that is what you could be reacting too! :o

    It could be a ingredient that lead to your reaction
    I know Heineken has a chemical thing in it that leads to thirst and gives pain in the head.
    The people i know all have it with that beer and not with other brands.
    I cant say what it does to me
    I dont drink....

    Pearl Jam is my kind of alcohol ;)

    Yuck....I hate exercising after heaps of alcohol. I had a bottle and a half of red the other night and sat up talking on skype until 5am and the LAST thing I felt like doing the next day was exercising. :|

    Well so do I, but I did alright for myself with the ladies the other night so I was feeling pretty chirpy. I also hit the bike and rowing machine for half an hour (a record for me cause that normally bores me to death)

    Is it a wheat allergy? Maybe try rice beers like Sapporo. Different beers have different ingredients, so try to narrow it down (although the experimenting could be painful I guess).
