    Sigur Ros or Amanda Palmer would probably be good too, but aren't acoustic. (Although Sigur Ros did put out an acoustic disc 'heim'.

    Ive been listening to Terj Tankian from System of a Down, he put out a solo album, then he decided to perform it with the Auckland Philharmonic Symphony. Elect the Dead Symphony. Pretty good and strong sounds.
