seafood soup recipes (send in your ideas)

oyster & spinach chowder...
so last night we had oyster stew with milk, mushrooms, onion, green onion, spinach, olive oil, chicken broth, some flour for thickening, and cheddar cheese.

tonight im cooking a soup called cioppino.
butter, onion, garlic, parsley, stewed tomatoes, chicken broth, bay leaves, basil, thyme, oregano, white wine, shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, crab, and cod fillet pieces.

what do you got goin on?

    last night was canned chicken broth because the left over chicken meat and juices i had in the freezer i thawed that out a week or so ago and made chicken soup.
    always use homemade chicken broth if possible.

    This reminds me! I gotta see if my cookbook has a recipe for salmon soup, like the kind we used to have in school. :think:

    Or I'll have to ask mum. 8-) She makes a good fishy soup. Usually with pollock, I think. (I'm not good with fish names in English.)

    do you believe haddock and o. roughy can being used with great success in the same mix?

    today im making another seafood soup.
    tomatoe based so it'll be red juice vs' milk/white creamy.

    calamari, shrimp, scallops, cod, all in a creamy tomatoe sauce
    add onion, green onion and some other junk.
    it will rule.

    Yea that recipe it right but there is also some finely chopped bacon in the soup.
    I got the red and white wine mixed up too. Stupid wine.....I should try putting more in the dinner and not in my glass ;)
