what time has Alice in Chains been coming on stage? I am going to be coming in late from work and just want to make sure I make it for all of their set.

Thanks.

mastodon goes on at 7 on the dot. by the time it was all said and done AIC came on at around 920,at the Boston show anyway.

aic was absolutely fantastic, my favorite non PJ show by far. plus being front row and getting jerrys pick and seans drum stick didnt hurt either. :D

side note im not into metal at all but i thought mastodon was pretty good, the deftones however i was laughing at how bad they were. when i was done laughing i was zoning out too. too bad theyre in between mastodon and aic because id advise coming in after them unless you like them

went to the Boston show as well..

Duvall has the spotlight now and seems very comfortable being the frontman..

incredible stage energy... and I think he does amazing job on Layne's parts to their older songs..
with the exception of "Rooster".. it seemed to me he went out of his way in the Boston show not to mimic Layne's vocal delivery...
    Its probably sign of respect...

"Rooster" is so synonymous with Layne's baratone vocal style.

Goddamn if Jerry Cantrell isn't hitting on all cylinders this tour..

His guitar solos are crisp and loud...absolutley NAILED that famous guitar solo in "Man in the Box"..

I WILL go see them anytime they come back to Boston...

Great show! LOVED the tunes from "Black gives way" as well!

Great show last night in Atlanta. William and Mastodon playing for the home crowd is always fun.
Pretty small crowd for mastodon compared to the waves of folks who poured in when the deftones started but whatever.

    mastodon played
    NAKED BURN
    DIVINATIONS
    THE CZAR
    CAPILLARIAN CREST
    CRYSTAL SKULL
    COLONY OF BIRCHMEN
    MEGALODON
    BLOOD AND THUNDER

    AIC played:
    01. Them Bones
    02. Dam That River
    03. Rain When I Die
    04. Again
    05. Check My Brain
    06. Your Decision
    07. No Excuses
    08. Grind
    09. We Die Young
    10. Acid Bubble
    11. Lesson Learned
    12. Junkhead
    13. Rooster

    Encore:
    14. Got Me Wrong
    15. Man in the Box
    16. Would?

I have not seen them do Love Hate Love and they have been playing it some. That was my only disapointment of the night. AIC killed it William is awesome. This is my 3rd time seeing the new version of the band. Being out on the lawn for the show was a bit different as I'm usually up front but it was still fun.

Mastodon sounded really good. The vocals seemed good which sometimes can be hit or miss for them. I have never heard them play Naked Burn live (been going to see them for 5 years now) so that was a treat.

I'm not a big deftones fan but all the kiddies at the show seemed to get excited for them. I guess they sounded good if you liked their music.

I was hoping one of the guys from mastodon might come out for man in the box or something like that but that did not happen. They were probably already down at the Clairmont Lounge :D
