Just heard a song from these called Kick Drum Heart and thought it was excellent. Anyone here a fan and how long have these guys been around? Never heard of them? Someone recommend and album please.. :)

    Saw them live, they put on a really good show. There last 3 cd's have been pretty good.

    Avett Brothers are great. Love all their albums- music is rockin and lyrically the songs are like really funny novellas. Totally recommend seeing them live.

    Thanks for this info and to everyone else who added an opinion. I just watched the ACL episode and thought it was pretty good all round. Watched some of PJ again too and the Steve Earle/Kris Kristoffersen one was a nice bonus. :D

    i have "Emotionalism" and i think it's excellent. Very refreshing lyrics. I recommend you check it out. Only other album I've heard is "I & Love & You" which I dont think is quite as good.

    I and Love and You was one of the best albums I bought last year. The Perfect Space and Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise are my favorite songs of theirs. Great band.
