He claims:
Juice Boxes Are Making You Gay
Right-wing radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones blows the lid off a government plot to line our food containers with estrogen to turn us all in to powerless, impotent homosexuals. I don't mind so much, as long as I can keep eating kettle chips. I love kettle chips.

throws us all off cause he is so far out there!
Works in their favor, kind of reverse psychology.
It is hard to believe because of his presentation but there is an ounce of truth there somewhere.
now, is there ANY actual science behind this bullshit or is this just the straightjacket and the rubber room talking?

The young men in my life, hold jobs, have manners, take good care of their women and children and respect their parents.
Women are strong and work along side their men, in a partnership, this is nothing new. For generations this has been so even if women did not work outside the home which now is pretty much a must to make it.
I think the men of today are heros. They are so very much involved in raising their children and trying to be sensitive to the women in their lives. Thats not easy because they think differently than women but they try.
We can always find people without initiative but it is not the general rule of the young men of today.

"Alex Jones is the man. O and go ahead bring on the hate everyone, I hear all the time on campus. I have a counter to record how many times I hear someone call me an idiot."
It takes a real man (and one who certainly doesn't drink from juice boxes) to take pride in the number of insults he receives, so much as to use a counter to record them. Inspiring.
Seriously, I'm ashamed that there was a time (though that time has long since passed) that I gave some creedence to this loon, Alex Jones. Although, like pandora said, not everything he says is untrue. And that's basically how you run a good conspiracy theory DVD-producing enterprise: mix fact with fiction, especially facts that are not widely reported - it gives you that rebel edge.
Jones is a nut.
Our government is the potent, the omnipresent teacher. For good or for ill, it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a law-breaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. - Louis Brandeis
John Wayne's real first name was Marion and he walked like a girl. Might want to pick somebody who isn't a big Hollywood phony.
Didn't John Wayne slap women around? Just saying, pilgrim.
As for the juice box theory..........same can be said for tofu.

Alex Jone's DELIVERY is piss poor.
Also, his ubiquitous and almost-never-true use of the phrase "I have the 'government documents' to PROVE it" is also pathetic.
I'm just pointing out that his statement is based on something more than just pure nutty fancy, at least, in part.
Modern science is showing strong evidence for support of the notion that certain plastics are detrimental to normal hormonal and brain development (particularly in males, it seems).
Is it a massive leap from THIS conclusion and the one that the GOVERNMENT is doing it?
Yes.
Does Alex Jones have the "government documents" to prove it?
He never discloses them, that's for sure.
Would i be surprised if it WERE true, though (true that those behind our government are aware of, and encouraged the use of these plastics by the corporations they control)? Absolutely not. It would most CERTAINLY be in their best interest to pacify the male ego of their "subjects" (ie. rulers and subjects).
Anyhow.

He is a controlled media outlet, used to represent the most radical elements of the ACCEPTED PARADIGM.
This means that his broadcast is intended as both false and controlled opposition to the existing establishment. That the FACTS of his presentation are meant to be JUST true enough to get those opposed to TPTB to believe him, but his DELIVERY is meant to be JUST SLIGHTLY MORE than discrediting to his image so that those who understand the underlying truth of most of his facts will not be turned away, but so that those who are unaware of such truths do not begin to aggregate towards the underlying validity of his message as a whole (that is to say, so that the mass of people do not begin to challenge the existing power structure but instead are turned off, as you are, by his constantly self-discrediting presentation).
This is a fine line, but the fail-safe for the establishment is that Alex Jones is NEVER to present REAL solutions to any of the problems or conspiracies he reveals, and he rarely ever (if i can't say never) discussed the REAL powers behind these issues.
For instance, he is in production on a JFK movie.
There is provable evidence (see Russ Baker's "Family of Secrets") of complicit involvement by the Bush family in JFKs death.
I can all but guarantee that this will not be presented in his movie.
Nor will any supposed links to the vatican, nor probably will there be any attempt to show that the mafia and the government work together, nor that the mafia has links to the vatican.
He ALMOST NEVER discusses Freemasonry and it's stated agenda of "new world order", he rarely ever, if never, mentions "the illuminati" in any substantial context, and he NEVER talks about the REAL HISTORY of these organizations more than a possible occassional mention of Adam Weishaupt (which i can say that in 3 years of listening to him, I never personally even heard him mention).
He rarely ever, if never, discusses the clear (if not proven) connections between Communism and the overarching "illuminist" conspiracy. He rarely explains the nature of socialism in relation to this conspiracy.
etc. etc.
I'm short on time, i work in 30minutes, but you get the jist.
Alex Jones functions (despite the apparently broad nature of his broadcast) within a VERY NARROW acceptable spectrum of political dissidence. You will never, for example, here him advocate Anarcho-syndicalism, or discuss the oligarchical nature of the state. You will never hear him discuss the difference between TRUE New Testament Christianity as expressed in the words of Christ and the perverse teachings of the Catholic church, nor will you ever hear him discuss the nature of the powers represented BY the Catholic establishment.
NONE of these are acceptable talking points to Alex Jones, because ALL of them are profoundly threatening to the establishment.
NOTHING Alex Jones talks about ever actually THREATENS the establishment.
In contrast, the ENTIRE thrust of Bill Cooper's show was aimed at an outright outing of the entire body of illuminst thought, as quoted from their own publications. Alex Jones NEVER quotes illuminist writing.
Alex Jones is a major "alternative" media darling. Bill Cooper was shot dead at his home by the authorities.
(maybe he didn't truly understand the writings he was quoting, but he DID oppose them openly)
Later.
If I opened it now would you not understand?
he's frankly most interested in his own theories or he might sympathize with illuminati-stuff, but know that he might lose a good chunk of his customers, that is listeners, if he highlight it too much.
That he stays closer to mainstream may be a very conscious choice on his part. Not because of conspiracy shit, but because he knows just how much he can pander to the fringe while still attracting more mainstreamish folks and thus maximize his audience. It's kinda how racist/anti immigration parties work in Europe, or at least in Norway. First establish anti-immigration credentials as a nutty party with extreme views. Then start to slowly moderate in order to gain influence and draw in those not-exactly-nazi-but-skeptic crowd in order to get a sizable part of the votes in elections. After a while, you dont have to pander that much to the fringe loonies, but you know that most of them will swing your way, as they don't have anywhere else to really go where there's influence.
The beauty of the theory here is that it only posits that Alex Jones is out to maximize his profit doing what he does. Maybe even a CT "sellout" so to speak. (Like when bands go from being small, new and cool to being labelled "sellouts" if they gain popularity be increasing the accessibility of their music.)
When you're not determined to see them, conspiracies really aren't everywhere. Do not insert a conspiracy theory where common sense and profit-directed behaviour will suffice.

Hey Dan,
While i TRY not to see conspiracies everywhere, I have to say, AJ is on an ever spiraling trajectory of credibility with me.
I'll admit to calling in to his show more than a few times, and ANYtime i brought ANY of the stuff up that you might consider getting towards the bottom of things, he is alwasy VERY quick to "thank you" and ::CLICK:: .
Also, I know this has been thrown around and brought up endless times in conspiracy forums and around the net, but if you look at the way he treats Bill Cooper on his show, it is more than a little strange.
I remember when THIS broadcast went out (i was listening live at the time) and i almost fell out of my chair.
"The guy was a pathetic drunk. And I don't like attacking people..."
Wow, Alex. Yeah i could tell you don't like attacking people.
Or listen to this extended rant on Bill.
Here, Alex actually accuses "COINTELPRO" of using Bill Cooper against him.
That is to say, Alex is claiming that there is a conspiracy against him by agents of the Federal Government to discredit him, by using Bill Cooper's broadcasts in comparison with his to discredit Alex. ??? What sounds nuttier? My claim, or his? (i'm guessing you think they are BOTH nutty, but anywhoo)
Now, this is a bit of a sidetrack, but for those who have no idea what is going on, and to defend Bill a bit, to Alex's point about Bill's "nuttyness" regarding aliens, If you go watch the movie The Hour of Our Time - The Legacy of Bill Cooper you can watch Bill CLEARLY state that he felt he was personally duped by people that he trusted in to believing that UFOs were really aliens, and that his current position is that the entire thing is a hoax by illuminists themselves for some other purpose.
If you take the time to sit through the 40 plus hours of Bill's "Mystery Babylon" series, not only will you hear him SEVERAL times mention that he believes almost everyone really pushing alien\ufo "conspiracy" as some sort of answer to earthly problems is in fact a freemason\illuminist trying to distract the public or push some other hidden agenda. But also, if you listen to all 40+ hours of that broadcast, you will hear absolutely NOTHING "nutty", outside of a man who is convinced that the things in the books he is reading by published MEMBERS of these organizations (Albert Pike, Manly Hall, Swineburne Clymer, Blavatsky, Alice Bailey, etc) are in fact true and that these folks are engaged in a plan to remake the planet in the image of their organizations.
And yet every time his name is brought up on Alex Jones' show, the guy goes ape shit beserk tearing his name to pieces, much of what he is saying being completely untrue, much exagerated, or having nothing to do with the more than VALID points that Mr. Cooper raised.
NONE of the stuff Bill talks about in that 40+ hours of Mystery Babylon broadcast is EVER mentioned by Alex Jones. EVER EVER EVER. And the stuff in that broadcast is at the HEART of what is going on in this world.
Take it for what it is worth.
If I opened it now would you not understand?
but i kinda think he part of the controlled media and his job is to take issues and discredit them with his personality, so like if someone hears something about rfid chips they will associate it with a nutty alex jones screaming and acting crazy and be able to just dismiss it.
anyway, some months ago i saw a youtube video of alex, i forgot when it was filmed, who the other group was or what their cause was but basically this other group had planned a rally and invited alex to speak, which he declined. the clip shows the rally with a decent crowd listening to a guy speak and then you see alex jones walk to a few feet from the edge of the crowd, put a megaphone to his mouth and just start going off on his own rant! the crowd turns, some ask him to be quiet, some from the group as him to either please wait until they are done, move to the other side of the street or somewhere that doesn't disrupt their rally and even offered him a chance to speak after their current speaker was finished. but instead of even being civil alex just starts screaming at them how they are trying to shut him up and silence his voice and they must be disinfo agents and who sent them there....? it was really crazy because it seemed like they were annoyed but still being nice about it yet alex was being an enormous douche.
what are you but my reflection? who am i to judge or strike you down?

I love this argument: He's such a paranoid lunatic that he must be, in fact, a part of the same conspiracy he claims to fight. Talk about a snake eating its own tail.

So, I see such apparent childish bullshit as Alex is pulling off (as you described) as rather par for the course. I dont find it at all strange or unusual. It seems he's an obvious attention whore, feeling threatened when other people also can make claim to being a guiding star for nuts everywhere. And you're right, to me it's nuts or nuttier between the two.
Point is, it's not strange or weird that such people will not cooperate, and it certainly isn't a shred of proof of Alex Jones being a disinfo-agent. As for snubbing your calls, he might just be fishing for people calling in about what HE wants to talk about. If you're not where he wants you to be, you get that reception. That's neither any prrof of conspiracy. Just him having a heavy editing hand on his show and controlling the message he wants to convey.
Peace
Dan
