Are the lyrics to yellow ledbetter anywhere on this site? If they are i cant find them. Could it be because Eddie doesnt even know the lyrics?

Ha ha. yeah the lyrics for that one are tricky aren't they? I once saw a track on youtube where it showed lyrics & they did seem right. Lyrics are definitely available. I think I've got them(one version anyway) somewhere. I'll see if can find them....

Ha ha, yeah most of the time it's more like:

mumble, mumble, mumble, I wanna leave her again, mumble, mumble, can you see 'em on the porch, mumble mumble, mumble, box or the bag, mumble, mumble, 'round the front way, yeah, and I know, and I know I don't wanna stay...

You get what I mean, some bits stand out but the rest is pretty well mumble, mumble.... Still my FAV PJ song though.

The lyrics were originally made up on the fly...mike wrote the music and Eddie just starting singing. As evidenced by the fact the lyrics make no sense.

That's how huge PJ was during the TEN era. The song was a b-side, made no sense and it was all over the radio. It's just a great, fairly simple song that everyone loved immediately.
