Hmmm...You'd think that after the whole heroin thing that Scott would recognize that he's probably not going to fair to well with alcohol either.

Hope he gets well and all...but this story is as old as the day is long.

glad I didn't waste money on that show. He sounds totally hammered. I hope he gets help and stays in rehab for a long time (like 3 months or more) instead of like a 30 day program. At least he is aware that he has a problem and hopefully he can pull through and stay sober with support and rehabilitation, even though addiction is a horrible demon, it can be beaten.

Just read the Houston Paper review: The band was on an hour late (paper claims Weiland was still in route to Texas by gates opening time).

They also mentioned that he might have been drunk, but weren't sure cause he did seem a bit off but the songs sounded fine.

So the crowd got 13 songs due to being tardy cause the woodlands has a curfew of 11pm as agreement to the neighborhood policy.

They postponed their show last week in San Diego until October. I just assumed it was due to low ticket sales, they are playing in a 13,000 seat arena. Given that it's the same place PJ played last year (Viejas Arena), I don't see STP being able to get nearly the audience that PJ would get for a typical show.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Scott Weiland does not lip sync. It really sucks this stupid rumor started.

With dates being postponed to late October it sounds like he plans to be show ready by then. Scott only needs a 3-4 week rehab if he truly wants to quit. I'm wondering if they will literally cancel/postpone every show up until late October.
  • I was thinking the same thing.

  • I've been lucky enough to see him with VR and STP a total of 4 times in the last several years. Hasn't cancelled on me yet. Like winning the Rock N Roll lottery with that guy.

It looks like the whole tour is being postponed to mid October. I am lucky though since I'm going to the October 29th LA show.

He's had quite the time with substances. Hopefully he gets well. Not a fan of his music but hate to see anyone tormented.

10:00? Hell, thats early> I saw STP a couple of years ago in NJ, and they didn't hit the stage until after 10:00(10:15-10:20). The people around were fearing the worst, but i guess he was JUST fucked-up.

pretty disapointed here because were playing atlanta as a part of some family values tour or some shit. I have no interest in the other bands and i think i'm gonna havea hard time getting a refund for my ticket

  • They totally canceled the St. Louis show and won't be rescheduling. I thought about buying a ticket to the show but am glad I decided against it.
  • Damm i feel bad for the other band members they given him chance after chance and he just keeps on f'n up , it's to bad they can't find another singer and just start a whole new band i know they tried with theguy from Filter like someone else said Scott is such a drama queen what a douche ...
jesus greets me looks just like me ....
  • it's too bad that Talk Show never went anywhere. That was a kick ass album, but commercially it did nothing, and everyone knew that STP was getting back together once Scott got out of prison.

I'd be totally into them doing another TS album.

The Army of Anyone album wasn't my favourite. I liked the music, but Richard Patrick isn't my favourite vocalist.
