Privileged To See Ann Coulter Speak Last Night

Yeh, so ...
I picked up a part time job going in to the Fall\Winter, and last night I worked an event at a Country Club near where I live.

It was a Republican fundraising event, and one of the guests on their way in the door asked, "Is Ann Coulter here yet?"

10 minutes later, a white Porsche Cayenne with a yellow T.E.A (Taxed Enough Already) sticker rolls up.
Who pops out the passenger seat, but the mega-tall blond bean poll herself!

After waiting around for her to primp and preen (she rolled in wearing jeans and a t-shirt, and took the stage in a knee length dress), and for the fundraiser auction to end, old wind bag herself took the stage.

I have to be honest, SHE WAS REALLY FUNNY.
Poignant at times? Eh, maybe.
Did she refer to Obama rolling over like a dog to be scratched by a Saudi prince? Yep.
Is she a raging hypocrite? I'll answer in the form of an image:

Is bi-partisan politics a hollow sham, and does Ann Coulter attempt to puff up Republican egos by senselessly bashing the Democrats? Uh. Of-fucking-course.

There were more than a few WAY off color jokes\attempts at defending the previous administration, but the most flagrant (imho) was her attempt to back in to defense of the Iraq war as justified by tearing down Obama's own position, which consisted of the following "logic"
a. Obama's opinion that the war in Iraq was a war of "choice" while Afghanistan is a war of "necessity"
b. her insistence that ALL wars are "wars of choice", including: the revolutionary war, wwi, wwii, vietnam, korea, iraq and afghanistan
c. her defense of Iraq being no more or less a "choice" than any of our previous wars
d. Obama's insistence that WWII was necessary because Hitler was spreading hateful ideology, mass murdering innocent lives, and threatening to take over the world
e. Ann's insistence that Obama's perception of Hitler's aims were off base ("he never threatened America or planned to invade it, he never attacked us.")
and
f. Finally, her blatantly ridiculous comparison of Saddam to Hitler, thus justifying Bush, by "proving" that if Obama thinks WWII was "necessary" because of Hitler's "alleged" intentions, then, of course, Saddam was doing the same thing. "What do you THINK he was doing over there? Playing bingo?" or something to that effect. Then she went on about ethnic groups and stirred violence in Iraq under Hussein, and continued with attempts to equate a confined oppressive totalitarian regime with comparatively low militaristic capabilities to a fully mobilized, high volume killing machine with plans for a "New Order" alligned with the Vatican and invading multiple sovereign countries.

I'm not saying we should or should not have got involved in WWII, but her pathetic attempt at defending the Bush administration's involvement in Iraq by hacking up Obama's comments about WWII and using it as a "valid" comparison to the gulf region was beyond the pale.

On a positive note, I got to shake hands with BJ Lawson.
I gave him a "god bless you, sir", told his wife she was married to "a real man", told him "he was going to help change our country", to which he responded "we're gonna try, things are looking really good right now", and to which i think i threw out a second "god bless you, sir. good luck, and get it done."
His wife asked if i wanted a yard sign, i said "hell yeah!", got one, a sticker, and a magnet. lol.
He was exceedingly genuine and kind. We NEED more "politicians" like that fellow! Young, energetic, well reasoned, with firmly grounded *constitutional* positions in defense of PERSONAL liberties (ie. NON-corporate).

Woo hoo.
I ALMOST got a photo with Ann for my facebook, but my stupid cellphone battery went to "low-battery" right before she came out. I can't believe i said, "have a good night, miss coulter."
blech!
lol.
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

Ann Coulter and the word 'Dong' in the same message. How fitting is that?
