We took a ride with the caravan.
Under diamond studded skies.
Silent road.
I can hear the shamans we pass
Gathered around one hundred campfires
Whispering
Ancient stories.
No one else dares to speak.
The children dream.
In the morning I will tell them
About how they pray
Live.
Try and make the earth a better place.
Love thy mother.
Mantra of the Indian poets.
We reach the new city.
No one believes us.
How we saw the native ghosts.
But after our stay
And on our return through the silent road,
We see the ashes of a hundred campfires.
Just dancing in the wind.

And no one dares to speak.

The children sleep.
Your light's reflected now,... reflected from afar...
We were but stones,... your light made us stars
