Possession

Interesting avenues
Make for interesting friends
Living life for one’s own sake
A life that has to begin
Avenues like fishing holes
Donut holes etcetera
Consumers of the newest idea
Once conceived in some strange way
Conception of ideas
A fetus lifts the egg
Conception of the season
Once cold, now boiling hot
These avenues, streets we walk
Where do they start?
I wonder if they end.
Will they ever end?
I don’t know, my friend, but still, I digress
Digression equals someone’s ultimate obsession
An indigent once said
The slave whose master has died
And now she’s free to take
What’s rightfully, righteously her own
But yet, I still own
Though I don’t possess

I think there'd be a great deal of freedom felt by a slave whose master has died. :)
    That's a good line.
The person would feel their freedom more than a person who is born free and takes it for granted.
