I like Montreal 2005 . Start with a little Save It For Later and veer into The Ramones I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend .

Uniondale '03. Even though its not listed in the setlist section of the Pearl Jam site, it is most definitely there.

Chicago 06 was very interesting because it was played after better man stopped ... he started it out really slow just him on the guitar and then they kind of all went into it and jammed on it for a bit... it was almost like he meant to tag it but forgot to so he played it anyway.

Having been to a lot of the shows mentioned in this thread, this one came to mind first. Good call

You're right, i'm disappointed with every other one. 9/16/98 is definitely the best

  • I am definitely partial, b/c I was there, but 10/12/00 in Kansas City was phenomenal. Ed started playing "Romanza" like he did many times that year, and went into the full first verse before ending with his classical "don't let me down!"

Wish I knew how to post it here for you all.

I love this song so much - I now get disappointed when they play betterman without it!

I've listened to a lot of versions of this over the years and nothing else is close to the 9/16/98 Mansfield version. Love it.

Detroit 00' is very good if you have not heard it. Romanza -> betterman -> SIFL. Great energy. I definitely recommend it.

I loved when Ed would do Romanza to start the song.... wish they'd bring that back sometime...

I was at that show, and and I was hoping they would tag Save it For Later. When Betterman ended, I was disappointed.....then ed just started playing quietly.....and it sounded like it.......then wham....
