probably I won't be original but "The End" and "Jut Breath" - there is something, dunno what is it, but something deep in both these songs. Just like regret of some things happened and hope for a new ones... inevitable ones like death... or passing by. This one is really heart touching, well maybe even makes one to think abt our own life, mistakes and hopes. "... my dear, the end comes near, I'm here but not much longer..."
Some may ask, "Why act now? Why not wait? - The answer is clear. The world could wait no longer

Wishlist - Always wanting to be more and hoping for more
"I wish I was the verb "to trust" and never let you down"

Black - "I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star
In somebody else's sky, but why, why, why
Can't it be, can't it be mine" - enough said..I think that is one of the saddest lyrics ever

Just Breathe - "Did I say that I need you?
Did I say that I want you?
Oh, if I didn’t now I’m a fool you see,..
No one knows this more than me.
As I come clean" - When he reaches this it takes my breath away

so heartbreakingly sad and amazing at the same time
• this one might seem strange but I think GIven To Fly is a sad one to me...
• Anyone who hasn't heard the song "Falling Down" by PJ at Red Rocks in '95, I'm doing you a favor.

The passion, the sorrow .. in this song, is just too intense.
This is, this is ... my ... last exit.

I cry every single time I listen to The End. There are a lot that choke me up but this one...whew.
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain ~Bob Marley
• Many PJ songs can reduce me to tears, although not always tears of sadness. But for me, the saddest is "Wash." Followed closely by "Hard to Imagine."
"Like a cloud dropping rain
I'm discarding all thought
I'll dry up
Leaving puddles on the ground"

Same here. Nothingman and The End. He writes such gut wrenching songs. Parting Ways is another, All Or None, but I think, for me, The End is the saddest yet. I want to write songs that are that heart wrenching...
