do u think stone makes mike sound better than his. or is he just that good one things for sure they were meant two play in the same band. thank goodness

    An awesome rhythm player is just as important, probably more, than a lead guitarist. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't imagine PJ without mike but you gotta have stone there holding it together.

    I just think that they compliment each other well - 2 COMPLETELY different styles that mesh perfectly

    I don't think there should be any limits to the number of great guitar players you can have in one band.

    Stone is way better than what he actually gets credit for, imo.

    but to answer your question...I'm sure they challenge each other to be the best they can be...at least that's the way it looks to me :)

    Everyone rises to the occasion, and that is the best thing about being in a great RnR group.

    I find stone to be the most original, creative song writer in Pearl Jam. As far as making Mike sound better than he is...could be, good leads over a bad song till sound bad.
