From one of the top 10 concerts I've ever seen (well over 500) He was a master that night in Palm Beach....he was funny , made the fans personable and made them one, a 18 piece orchestra/band we all gave him a standing ovation at the end and didn't want him to leave. If you get a chance to see him please do.

Well I was at this show stage left general admission 20 rows back. It was the very last show of this tour in December 18th maybe after school was out for Christmas break and this tiny arena Hampton Coliseum was so sold out but I had tickets from my connection working security there. It was one super night! Little did I know they were going to tape a video.

I saw The Fighter last night and that was a great movie especially the scenes from around Lowell, Mass. At the end they played this song one of my favorites by this artist. I don't think I've seen a song posted by him so far. This guy has to be one of the koolest musicians I've ever met backstage. I met him backstage at the Langerado Festival Florida '06. and we talked after being introduced by my friend Michael Franti. Instead of talking about music him being the featured act, the large 3 day fest, his new double album, we started talking about children and that I once taught pre-school. At the time he and his wife had just given birth to a child and we went on about children. Sadly I think i just heard he's getting a divorce from his wife...I wish him and his children all the best he is a very interlectual and smart guy.
