I'd give Gigaton a 9 out of 10. The album has grown really quick on me. It begs for closer attention to the brilliantly crafted lyrics as well as its various sonic textures. Standout feature of Gigaton: different musical layers in the majority of the songs. A characteristic that instantly reminded me of the mighty Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody).

I would give Gigaton right about what you gave it : 8.8 to a 9 out of 10 When I first played it I wasn't blown away but I thought that ther wasn't a bad song on the album. Also, like you, I think there is a lot of layers of music , and I also think the Lyrics are some of the best in YEARS. I like it very much only after about 5 or 6 times playing the album. Its their BEST work in 14 years. Maybe 20 years? I can hardly wait to hear these songs played LIVE!!
