Garth Brooks

So I just got back from seeing Garth in Vegas. I had seen him once in 98 as a friend really wanted to go and I've been hooked on his stage presence/performance since and I absolutely hate country otherwise!!
WOW!
The venue was amazing and the sound was the best I've ever heard.
Garth played for over two hours and covered songs from when he was a kid growing up to finally Garth.
He played songs like Against The Wind, Turn The Page (Bob Seger), American Pie (Don McLean), Rocket Man (Elton John) and he played a bunch of songs by artists I don't really know like Merle Haggard, George Jones and Randy Travis and I really enjoyed those too!
He also played two songs with Trisha Yearwood, In Anothers Eyes and She's In Love With The Boy.
He played, The Thunder Rolls, Rodeo, The Dance, Shameless and I can't remember how many others.
If you ever get the chance you REALLY REALLY need to go and see this guy!
I told my wife at one point in the show that it felt like "if the building were to collapse right now that I would be safe because I was onstage with Garth".
I've felt it before at Pearl Jam shows but he is the only performer that makes you feel like you're the only one in the building and that he is singing directly to you for every single song.
WOW!
