converting mp4 to mp3....help please....

Hi all, I have some songs I have downloaded from youtube as mp4 using keepvid.com however I cannot convert to mp3 so I can burn to cd/add to mp3 player.
I used to be able to do this using AVS audio converter in the past but for some reason I cannot import the mp4 files to enable conversion.
Does anyone know of another program that is free?

itunes... download for free... select the mp4's and right click on them... choose 'convert to mp3'... send dunk $450 for helping you.. job done.

That first link takes you to AVS which I have already.
The version on that site is trial only.

I use a program called wavepad. It is also good for editing the files if you want to.
