I just got round to downloading a pieced-together version of this 'lost' Weezer album, and it's every bit as good as I hoped it'd be. This would easily be their third best album if they ever decided to record it properly and give it an offiial release. Many of the tracks have since been released (on Pinkerton, as b-sides, bonus tracks, demos, etc) but they work so well together here. Plus, it has one of the greatest ever Weezer songs - 'I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams'.

Wikipedia has a really good entry on 'Songs From The Black Hole' for those of you who are unfamiliar/curious.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
  • I finally did this as well about 6 months months ago. So fucking good. "Who You Callin' Bitch?" is epic, Blast Off, IJTOTLOMD, all so amazing.
Using the word "methinks" in your message board posts doesn't make you look smart.

Or at least a track list? It could be fun to go and piece it together myself.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!
