My favorite Pink Floyd song, no doubt:

The guitar at 4:28 is just phenomenal.

  • Without a doubt, an incredible song that nevers gets old. Might I also note that Blind Melon also have a song called 'Time' on their self-titled album that is also great. Not as epic as Pink Floyd's, but still a stellar song.

Wow someone fuckin' understands it like me..

Though the solo on the PF album isn't as good as David Gilmour solo. That version of the solo just gets me everytime like no other solo, one of the greatest things i've ever heard.

    ]CHECK IT!

Yeah, that guitar solo, especially starting at 4:28 just shines light on a very certain emotion. Total aural bliss.

I dunno why, but I've always loved this line: "Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way"

I'll tell ya why.... B/c it's a fucking great line.

It was a pleasure seeing him play this live on his solo tour. I've always appreciated the way he plays a solo in a live setting...plays all the great recognizable licks with just enough improvisation

    Perfect song.

Alan Parsons, who was the engineer on DSOTM also recorded a song named Time, which eerily reminds one of Us and Them...
