Yeah, I was wondering that too. No mention at all of what happened. Either way it's really sad. He was one of the few ESPN guys that didn't cause me to change the channel right away when he came on screen.

The always annoying Stephen A Smith gave a moving 'reaction' on air yesterday and as part of it he indicated that John had been up and down with all sorts of health issues (including a bad fall) in recent years. Doesn't tell us what got him, but apparently he was not in good health overall.

Yep. Besides Bob Ley and Van Pelt, there aren't many ESPN guys that stand out anymore.

I like Bucigross ok but to be honest I rarely even watch Sportscenter anymore. I mainly stick to the ESPN:60 and 30 for 30 these days. I enjoy Sports Reporters sometimes, too. Used to love Mike and Mike but got tired of Greenberg's self righteousness.
