I can't believe there hasn't been a thread on this yet. Who's going? I got my ticket today. Looks like first show is tomorrow in Seattle. I'm going in with a lot of hope but not as much expectations. I know Billy has always been the brains of the band, but I think missing Jimmy Chamberlain will be the most notable difference between his other touring bands. I'd love to see a set list once some of you all see their shows. If I had my way they'd play only songs from Gish, Siamese Dream, Melon Collie, and Pisces Iscariot, but I hear they're definitely playing their new songs too.

Okay, sorry, I've been misinformed, it's an ongoing tour. But I'd love to hear someone's take on any of the shows if they've been to one recently. Just go to http://www.smashingpumpkins.com/ to find tour dates. They've now got five free songs to download from new album.

I'm toying with the idea of going to the Sydney show next month. I'm pretty broke and I've seen them before but I would like to see how the new line up compares live.

Okay, I guess I didn't go back far enough. I also thought this was a new tour. I'm not totally hip to that new scene, you dig? ;)

I wanted to see them on this tour, but I didn't know they were playing in NY the day of when I saw the Livestream. They seemed pretty spot on at that show, though, Billy's voice was great and the new band members can play pretty well.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

I may check this show out. I've always been skeptical on seeing the pumpkins live. Some of their older live performances sound awful. After watching some recent 2010 youtube vids they seem to sound more return to form and the songs sound more like the studio versions.
