    I saw it coming,
    I saw emptiness and tragedy
And I felt like running, so far away
Then knew I had to stay
And I know when I'm older
I'll look back and I'll still feel the pain
I know I'll be stronger, and I know I'll be fine, for the rest of my days

    I've seen better days
Put my face in my hands
Get down on my knees and I pray to God
Hope he sees me through til the end

I notice most things, but I didn't notice the change
It was hot in the morning
Then it turned so cold towards the end of the day
    And there's no condensation
I just felt like I was in space
I needed my friends there, I just turned around
They were gone without a trace

    I've seen better days
Put my face in my hands
Get down on my knees and I pray to God
Hope he sees me through til the end

Now I have just started, and I won't be done, til the end
    There's nothing I have lost
That was once placed, in the palm of my hands
And all of these hard times, have faded round the bend
    Now that I'm wiser
I cannot wait til I can help my friends

    I've seen better days
Put my face in my hands
Get down on my knees and I pray to God
Hope he sees me through til the end

    I've seen better days
Put my face in my hands
Get down on my knees and I pray to God
Hope he sees me through til the end

Yup. Fortunately, I have been able to get rid of it. That was several days of annoyance.

Whenever a really annoying song gets stuck in my head I have to find something I like and put it on QUICK otherwise, well, out comes the tire iron.

When somebody says to me, "The song that really gets stuck in my head is..." that's when I do the verbal nonsense "nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah blah blah blah blah baa baa baa baa" thing with ears plugged. image
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

Nice! Love the slide whistle part.

Trey Songz' Slow Motion. The chorus is addicting!!!

Paranoid Android - Radiohead. Listened to it the other day and got the awesome guitar part stuck on repeat in my head. Love that song.

The 3:00 minute mark on is musical ecstasy, but close your eyes before Yorke starts making love to the mic because it will distract from the audio experience

    It's a hopeless situation...

Been listening to quite a bit of new music lately, just reading peoples best of’s lists for 2021.

Listened to Wet Leg’s Chaise Lounge yesterday. All afternoon I kept repeating ‘chaise lounge’ in my head.
