Are You Funny?

Hot Valley Writers, an online literary magazine I started with a friend is looking for funny fiction, non-fiction, poetry, limericks, etc. for the next issue. Our all humor issue will be edited by Nick Meglin, former MAD magazine editor. Hot Valley Writers has had pieces by at least three Message Pit members. So we obviously have good taste.

I like to think so, but my writing usually isn't funny. Weird. Maybe I should embrace that side for a piece.

It's hard to be funny. I think a lot of what I write is funny, but when you sit down and deliberately try to do it - it seems, well, sucky bad. And unfunny.

Some people have submitted limericks.
