    yes this announcement was directly influenced by the cancelled performance by the Allman Brothers. One of the original members is recovering from Hepatitis C.

    ABB is a huge draw at the Bonnaroo festival....so this replacement has to be just as 'big' as the ABB.......i have been reading all kinds of rumors...such as CLAPTON

    It will be Led Zeppelin joining the line up... have been hearing a buzz about this recently, although I can't say that it is anything official - more speculation
    For those who scoff at "Jamily" in my name... 9 years ago, when my first daughter was born there were jokes about whether my priority would be my family or PJ. I smiled and quipped "I am a JamilyMan." What was a family joke became a hated term among jammers. Didn't see that one coming!

    Has anyone thought of the Dead? They just performed a show for Obama...and let's be honest - the only band that draws the same crowd, but only more of it, is the Dead (and Phish).

    I'd say the Dead, or Clapton/Winwood. Maybe Oasis...

    I think it may be that you get a commemorative DVD when you order tickets. Or did they already tell ppl about that?

    they already told people about that. also, it costs $10 with your ticket purchase
