I think that song would've fit really nicely next to supersonic on Backspacer.Especially with Ed and Jeff doing vocals.

I was wondering the same thing. But a quick google search revealed it's a track off Jeff's solo album coming later this month. Looking forward to picking it up.

It's on Jeff's solo album. I believe that PJ actually recorded a version of this song, but Eddie never wrote lyrics or laid down vocals for it, so it kinda got tossed until...

    1. PJ used it during Jeff's skate board scene in the Imagine In Cornice DVD.
    2. Jeff added lyrics and vocals and put it on his solo album.

I think that it was submitted/recorded during S/T, but I could see this as a Backspacer tune.

Thanks for the info. Haven't watched the Cornice DVD is a long time - is the version on there a full song including vocals? Or just instrumental? Either way, Jeff's album comes out Sept. 16 (I think) so I could just wait until then.

The album came out 2 years ago.

Oh shit, I guess that's his old album. Nevermind. I google searched the song and saw Sept 16 and assumed it meant this year. Got excited thinking he was releasing a new one. Guess that's what I get for assuming.

It was only part of the song and it was the instrumental version. Maybe the PJ instrumental version?

  • Tone rocks. I'd love to see how the songs that were meant for PJ would have turned out with the rest of the band involved.

I think it would go great next to supersonic. They both have that catchy punk rock sound.
