Ebay virgin here w. questions

Hey all,

after a long and nasty tug of war between me and other forces I've finally given up on getting my Copenhagen '07 poster back and went to look for it on ebay and found it for a price I am willing to pay. But I've never ever bought anything off Ebay before, and I get there some pits to fall into.

So does http://cgi.ebay.com/Pearl-Jam-Klausen-C ... 20b33ea09e look legit and ok all in all?

Is there anything I need to be aware of as a European resident - postage-wise etc? I've recently recieved a package from FedEx where the postage exceeded the pice of the parcels contents.

ask someone to get it for you in the states and send it to you...im in the uk ahd have done this a few times...if you need i will recommend a few people for you ...but im sure your get offers before thats needed.

And always check the feedback. I've only had one bad Ebay experience and I hadn't checked the feedback. The person was a kook, never sent the item, but I'd done PayPal and got the money back.

read the descriptions very carefully
make sure you use pay pal and a credit card=a lot more protection

NEVER send a money order
watch out for shipping costs, a lot of sellers jack of the shipping costs

and if there is something you really want-use esnipe.com

the trick is to determine how much you really are willing to pay for a desirable item and then snipe it baby!
