I've occasionally had to clean mud out of my son's shoes. It's the same principle although it's less smelly. :wtf:

Get to the kitchen sink and run some warm water. First wash the bottom off with some dishsoap and a cleaning sponge, (this should clean off everything except what's buried in the creases of the bottom of the shoe). Then, get an old butterknife and dig out the rest of the mud (dog poo?) crease by crease with the water running on it the whole time. It takes a while, but it cleans it up and then you can wear the shoe again.

Just be careful to keep the shoe upside down. You don't want the part you put your foot in to get wet and slimy.

i washed them off with the garden hose.
    im good to go,
thank you all for your help and loving support.

no returning of shoes, no video taping of shoe return with dog shit scenes.
none of the good fun stuff.
im just happy to have clean shoes once again.

i must say it was weird, looking down at my shoes
and seeing dog shit smeared up the side of 3 hour old shoes.
    wonderment.
