HEY! I got a great f***in idea!!!
Instead of the five members of Pearl Jam (six if you count Boom) focusing on their core competence--creating great f'ing music--they should start focusing on creating a global organization with the infrastructure to either buy or build numerous stadiums, arenas, ampitheaters and small clubs all over the world so that they can play all types of shows (stadium rock to acoustic club gigs) wherever and whenever they please and every single fan can get in.
I mean think of it, they can disrupt the way things are and make everything better if they would just stop being artists and start being A+++ business people. Gordon Gecko would be proud. I mean right now they are only C+ busines people because they charge ticket prices that cover their costs, they make compromises with venues like MSG and ticket distributors like Ticketmaster to limit the amount of special fan club tickets so that they can rent the venue. If they would only spend more time focusing on the business and less time on the art, just imagine the fucking possibilities!
Ed is CEO. Mike can be COO and in charge of site acquistions and construction. Rubysdad is his lieutenant. Stone can be CFO in charge of getting the financing for these projects from banks and private equity funds. Kat and Sea can assist. Jeff can be in charge of sales and marketing. Santos Harper can help. Matt in charge of technology. He's all of creating disruptive technology to ticketmaster. Boom is in charge of mergers and acqusitions and should already be in the process of acquiring Clive Davis' label.
In no time they could be up there with who knows--Microsoft, Unilever, Walmart, Halliburton. Instead of being C++ business people who merely play by the rules, they could create the rules. Market movers!
In the meantime, we'd never hear another piece of music from them again. Give these guys a break for trying to coexist (and even sometimes sets trends and defy conventions) in the business world. People are just losing it.

No worries though. I have never been that creative.
