It was my wedding anniversery on the 1st of sept, 9 years wed and 19 years together ( almost as much as pj ! ) but I'd like to say how thankfull I am to be married to such a great girl, although she's not a hardcore fan she knows what it's like to be married to one! For example after I organized a mini - bus for 15 or so mates ( which she drove!!) to the Belfast show she said " why do you do all that ? Why don't you just worry About yourself? You should have been in Belfast early instead of worrying about everyone else!" she was mad because on the way home someone in our company said and brace yourself! " can we not turn pearl jam off , have we not heard enough of them for one night" she was raging and I know she was raging for me cause I'd planned this trip for months .... I just want to say to zoe ...I love you so much ... Nothing you would take,...everything you gave,

No buddy she's not on the boards! She gets enough of this through me! She pretends she couldn't care less but I know she loves binaural and thin air in particular! She says the next time pj are in the uk or Ireland me and her are gonna book hotels and get to the venu real early! ( her words not mine!) although I was at wembley 2007 and got three rows from the front she wasn't there and I wished she was!0

There's nothing better than a spouse who accepts our obsession. My beautiful wife Mary has been putting up with my obsession for years now and has never once told me NO!. It is a beautiful thing, my friend, to have your loved ones accept your obsession. You and I are the lucky few.He who forgets will be destined to remember.

Just thinking back to the first time we went on holiday together it was 1993 and went to Majorca ( Spain) with her family, zoe was 17 and i was 19 we had an old White stereo and I remember sitting on the beach at night listening to ten over and over and drinking cheap snapps and beer, I knew then she was my girl... Even now when I put on oceans that beach is the first place I go... Who says time travel is impossible!!!0

My wife is a Pearl Jam fan but she would always make fun of me for my obsession. Over the past year, I think she is finally starting to come around. I now catch her listening to boots when she is working at home or driving in the car.
Just a couple weeks back, she went on a hunt to find me an EV poster for my birthday (in passing I had mentioned how awesome Hoff's framed EV posters looked). To try and find me an A/P of the EV Rocket or Batmobile print, she logged onto the PJ boards and searched E-Bay. She even found the Artillery site (I had never said what artist did the prints) and even e-mailed Brad to see if he had any sitting around (he didn't). For someone who doesn't completely understand why I collect PJ posters, she really worked hard to try and hunt one down for me.
Now, if I could only convince to go to back-to-back shows next time the band comes to Chicago.0 -

I used to make fun of my husband's obsession...but I finally came around...it was the boots that got me hooked...now we are obsessed together! I have been hunting down that poster too...without much luck...
Keep working on getting her to a show...I did not become a die hard until I saw them live...nothing else in life compares!
