morphine

holding stomach pains
empty hands
empty guts
slamming wine and pills

eating doses at the bus stop
staggering was it yesterday
or today right now
step up for the driver
find a seat of seats
rotate with streets

nothing in struggle
hurts as bad as nothing
as long as
nothing will ever be escape
nothing will ever be escape
nothing will ever be escape
nothing will ever be escape

the hash farm lit up nicely last night
each smoke ring a signal

nothing will ever be escape
for poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."

reminds me of a rolling stones song and for some reason memories of my late step-father.
I love this work, it takes the reader into the body of the helpless in every step of his journey.
once again chad another master piece.
    how are you doing ?
