    City looks a mess though, although the PM and Mayor spoke on OZ news last nite, and they seem like they have their shit together. Very calm.

    I'm in Auckland, not Christchurch so far from the damage but just to report no human casualties(lost one lemur at a wildlife sanctuary in Chch which was a rather odd thing for one television news show to report earlier today) but yeah no human deaths which is amazing but so much damage & city basically closed down until at least Wednesday when they're hoping basic water, sewerage lines etc will be restored. So much damage.
