So now we're back to the CD/vinyl/poster reprints/other goodies package. This is all such bad, bad marketing. Yeah, it started out great, but now so many people (including myself) are so gun-shy about this whole thing that at this point I bet even if the band or 10C made an official announcement, shared photos of the thing along with a track listing, and posted it for sale in the Goods section, a lot of people still might not believe that it's real and might not buy it. Or, we'll all just be so fed up with all of this by the time it comes out that we just won't care anymore (Ok, that last sentence is probably not true. )

I have just never seen reputable websites put something so expensive up for sale with pretty much no details before and expect people to buy it.

it's not really as uncommon as you'd think. I've pre-ordered things on Amazon several times in the past and had the release date pushed back so many times that the order eventually gets canceled. Either the product never existed or somebody at a label jumped the gun before all the legal I's were dotted and T's were crossed.

Regardless, the longer this drags on the less likely it is to be legit.
