Thanks for the sentiment. If your area wasn't such an inconceivable distance from our base, we'd consider making a visit.

You know, I remember your current avatar from your MySpace page. How's it going, Jeff? Glad to hear that we'll be sharing the Sull Hall stage one month from today. It should be a killer night!

You're ahead of rattzey in the queue, D!

That's an accurate assessment of AC, Dragons. While you're at it, add Ortley Beach to the "no play" list. Too much of an "unsavory element" for the Jammer crowd.

But I appreciate your wanting us to explore the state's coastal towns. Perhaps LBI will be an option next summer. I noticed that The Sea Shell scheduled tributes to the Rolling Stones and Jimmy Buffett and put in a request with the booking agent for 2011. I can state with absolute certainty that No Code's "McCready" would jump at the chance to play the island.

The decision-maker at Stone Pony is, shall we say, erratic. Wonder Bar is mostly booked by Live Nation. Management likes to give the impression that bands are sometimes booked on the side, but that really isn't the case.
  • Why'd they move you guys to "other music" they never did that before. Anyway glad to see you guys are coming back to NY. Definitely gonna try to make it this time. I know I've been saying that the past couple of times but this time I'm gonna try really hard :p

I appreciate the support you guys have shown with your comments. Sure, the move (banishment?) of this topic to "Other Music" is disappointing because it means that fewer eyeballs will make contact with the listing. But as long as the board moderators apply the seemingly new "policy" evenly to all PJ tribute bands, I don't think we have a legitimate complaint.

Tony...there's always FB and all the PJ fan sites on there...if you need a list I'll be happy to provide you with a zillion pages (well maybe not a zillion) to promote PJ related music on...we won't call it "other music" for sure. Let me know. I'm sure you're aware of many, but if not all, I'll help you out. xoxoxoxoxoxo
