2008 = most memorable YEAR of my life!
I can't say it's the greatest year because there's been many ups and downs for me this year personally but it's been a significant one, indeed.
I'll just focus on the positive things like traveling to see Pearl Jam(the greatest band in the world) for the first time in my life. Also traveling up to Canada for the first time seeing Eddie solo. I'm also heading over to my "motherland" for the first time in my life, it'll definitely be a cultural shock for me.
And now, Barack Obama is the new President.
i'm just soooooo HAPPY!!!
I DON'T WANT THIS YEAR TO END!
!!!!!Thanks for the memories!!!!

WOW there are a lot of parallels for us this year....
It's my most 'memorable" year as well, not the greatest.
traveled to see PJ at 9 shows
traveled alone for the first time to see ED in Canada (*first time there)
divorce
living on my own
making it through hardships ALIVE
seeing Barack OBAMA elected President!!
having my vote count for once;) (*actually it really did...my county was mentioned on CNN as one of the Philadelphia suburban counties that helped to determine the state:):))
For all that has happened...I will NEVER forget this year!"I'm not present, I'm a drug that makes you dream"0 -
Yeah somewhat similar, just different settings and situations but we both are looking forward to a brighter future. But it’ll only get better if we act on it. It's great that Pearl Jam's been able to ease some of the stress away.CHANGEinWAVES wrote:WOW there are a lot of parallels for us this year....

Flew to NYC for two nights of Pearl Jam - kicked ass.
Saw EV both nights at Massey Hall - big thanks to a forum member who sold me his extra for night two at face value!

Even more importantly - NO MORE BU**SH**! Finally, a president I can bear to listen to.
