I found this site on another forum, but I really like the idea behind it. On the site they have kids with all kinds of illnesses, and the point of the site is to write the kids an email, a letter, send them a gift, or really anything that will make them smile for a least a moment in spite of their illness. Each kid has a back story on their page so you can get to know a bit about them before emailing them, and the kids range from the very young to the older teens. There's a FAQ on the page if you're not sure what say/not say, so if you're not sure, take a look at that.

I think this is a very kind thing to do, because after all, what better way to make yourself happy than to make someone else happy first?
