The Friday night bill was led by comedian Chris Rock, who was followed by Metallica. Though the heavy metal band played a generally admired set, the Pearl Jam audience seemed larger and arguably more enthusiastic.

    i read that, thats what i thought when i first read that part as well :)

    first thing that came to mind was the fact that my local radio station had a march bracket brawl and fans voted metallica the number one, pj number 2.
