Over the past while I've come across a few wikipedia-style pages for bands. Nine Incah Nails' Wiki: http://tinyurl.com/3dn57y Weezer's Wiki: http://tinyurl.com/6y3sg5 And even a few for TV (Simpsons): http://tinyurl.com/25jo6jb...And it got me wondering why this hasn't been done for Pearl Jam?
The amount of documented history, musical family tree from the band members, collectors items, shows, news, other work, Community, Absolutely anything. I don't see how this couldn't be done for pearl jam and become the most intricate, well organized Pearl Jam site ever created. I personally would be able to spend (literally) weeks reading everything this site could possibly hold. Just the thought of it is pretty ridiculous.
*rolls up sleeves* So how do we make this happen?

Personally I've been hoping this would happen for nothing other than the sake of documenting (in detail) the band recording history with respect to their time in the studio. For example, Date, # and Songs recorded/Take number, who present, who ran the booth, instruments used, which of the takes wind up on the final releases.
That would make me happy. Especially after seeing the inside jacket of Lost Dogs and coming to the understanding that we've probably heard well under half of what this band has recorded."A lot more people are capable of being big out there that just don't give themselves a chance." -Stone Gossard0 -

Yeah, I remember him talking about Yellow Ledbetter and the meaning behind the song suring one of his solo shows back in 2008. Also the story about Long Road in San Diego in 2006...Those are really special moments and I love hearing them on the bootlegs...0 -

It's not anything secret. if you listen to the bootleg for San Diego 2006 you'll hear him tell the story of how they recorded Long Road, it's actually a very touching story...
The Yellow Ledbetter story was from one of the EV solo shows. Someone had posted a video of the story but because the 10c was very strict about their no taping policy for Ed's shows it got taken down rather quickly.
I'm sure there's a dozen more stories like this. I'd love to know where to find them all...0 -
