He steps off of the road
into the desert.
The moon a half red ruby in the velvet sky.
Peace to his eyes.
His cup is half full
so he ventures into unknown.
Letting the vibe guide.

Behind diamond sands
and ebony,
he sees his muse.
In all her beauty she dances in a aura.
He starts to sway
but can't look away.

Here it comes back again
more intense.
Inspiration moving through his body
electrifying.

Into the night he releases his energy.
This feeling a friend to me.
Mirrored in the dream
we become the same.
Pulling him close,
she whispered his name.

Raise your glass and make a toast to the nights intention.
When there isn't a worry in the world,
the ancient poet bleeds creation.
