Simply brilliant, interactive and evocative of youth. A perfect accompaniment to this song.

I think that says more for the Director of the Video and HTML5 than it does the Arcade Fire.

Wanted to go through the cities I lived in, on the second toned the music down, got bored by the third. Draw Stickman - looked like scarecrow, which was cool, with all the birds. I wonder how difficult is to make this.

Yeah I agree. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE fan of The Arcade Fire and believe that they are worth every ounce of praise and hype they get, but this video has nothing to do with that. It could have been set to "Home Sweet Home" by Motley Crue and it would have been just as impressive.

I am actually a huge fan of The Arcade Fire and I personally think this "interactive" video they did was silly.

Cool video, but the song didn't really sound like anything special to me. It was neat getting to see my old city like that, but I really don't think it's "evocative of youth" of anything. Just a cool little thing.
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

Great web skills and video production, mediocre song, completely OTT thread title.

I think you mean that this was a clever promotional trick to sell records...Yay web designer guy!!!

Because...It doesn't mean that The Arcade Fire "owns" music right now...nor does this mean that this is even a very good song...which unfortunately it is not.

It's kind of like saying..."Wow!! I went to see Nickelback and there was all this pyro and explosions" They're the greatest live band ever.

Arcade Fire must be reaping in the royalties if they own music.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
